Dubai South

Dubai South — a large-scale master-planned district for strategic development in southern Dubai

Dubai South is one of the largest urban development projects in the UAE, formerly known as Dubai World Central (DWC). Covering an area of over 145 sq.km, the district is designed as a self-sufficient urban cluster that integrates residential, commercial, logistics, aviation, and business real estate. The project operates under a Free Zone status, offering distinct regulatory and investment conditions compared to other areas of Dubai.

Located in the southern part of Dubai, close to the Abu Dhabi border, Dubai South plays a key role in the emirate’s long-term strategy to develop new growth hubs beyond traditional central locations. The core of the district is Al Maktoum International Airport, around which the area’s infrastructure and development are strategically structured.
